Biography

Faisal Ghafar is the Founder, President and Chief Executive Officer of FGi Global Solutions, a Virginia-based company providing mission-support solutions to government, defense, diplomatic and humanitarian organizations worldwide.

Under his leadership, FGi has developed an operational footprint spanning more than 50 countries and built capabilities across the United States, the Middle East, Africa, Asia, Europe and Latin America. The company supports customers operating in challenging and remote environments.

In 2026, FGi Global Solutions was ranked No. 814 on the Inc. 5000 list of America’s fastest-growing private companies, based on three-year revenue growth of 424.74%. FGi was also ranked No. 24 in its industry, No. 30 in Virginia and No. 31 in its metropolitan area.

Under Faisal Ghafar’s leadership, FGi received the International Stability Operations Association’s 2022 Global Impact Award and the 2024 and 2025 Vanguard Awards, as well as the 2025 Business Impact Award from Westford University.

Faisal Ghafar’s leadership philosophy emphasizes service, ethical business practices, employee development and collaboration with local partners. He holds a master’s degree in Entrepreneurship and Innovation Management from Murdoch University in Australia. Outside his professional responsibilities, he enjoys traveling, golfing, and horseback riding and spending time with his family.
