Sales & Sourcing Specialist

Job Overview:

This role exists to support FGi’s mission of delivering reliable, tailored solutions to the Government by

ensuring strong sourcing, supplier engagement, and bid support across multiple service categories.

You will directly contribute to winning contracts, working across global RFQs, sourcing suppliers under

tight deadlines, and supporting bid strategies that directly impact contract wins. Over time, you’ll transition

into a more commercial/sales-focused role as you develop.

Key Responsibilities are as follows but not limited to:

A. Bid & RFQ Support

• Support the Bids Manager in managing RFQs across categories:

o General Procurement Services

o Equipment & Fleet Rentals

o Sanitation & Facility Services

o Laundry & Uniform Rentals

• Review, prioritize, and track RFQs based on urgency and submission deadlines

• Prepare pricing matrices including:

o Supplier quotes

o Lead times

o Commercial comparisons

B. Supplier Sourcing & Market Research

• Identify, evaluate, and onboard suppliers aligned with project requirements

• Conduct global market research or specific to operations geography to identify competitive sources

• Expand supplier database across multiple geographies

C. Commercial & Sales Support

• Assist in developing competitive pricing strategies for bids

• Support negotiation efforts with suppliers to optimize cost and delivery

• Contribute to bid submissions by aligning sourcing with client requirements

• Coordinate with internal teams to strengthen technical and commercial proposals

D. Operations Coordination

• Support purchase order processes and supplier follow-ups

• Track delivery timelines and resolve supply chain issues

• Coordinate with logistics, finance, and operations teams

E. Cost Optimization

• Identify cost-saving opportunities during and after sourcing

• Propose alternative suppliers or solutions

• Support re-negotiation for better pricing and terms

F. Reporting & Documentation

• Maintain accurate RFQ, supplier, and pricing records

• Generate reports on:

o Supplier performance

o Cost savings

o Bid efficiency

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree in business, Supply Chain, or related field

• 2 – 4 years of experience in sourcing, procurement, or sales support

• Experience in multi-category sourcing (preferred)

• Prior experience in US gov tendering (preferred)

• Experience in writing technical proposal

• Strong analytical and communication skills

• Ability to work in a fast-paced, deadline-driven environment

Working Hours:

This is a remote position aligned with the US time zone.

Remuneration:

Base Salary

Incentive:

• Cost Savings Target: Savings on each RFQ/Order = 1% of the savings as a bonus, Based on

savings and supplier negotiations. Will get paid upon successful project completion, and payment

receipt from the client.

• Annual Performance: Bonus or salary adjustment for exceeding yearly savings targets.
